A rare woman’s Decorative English dress cane from the second half of the 19th century with silver handle. The handle is made of Cast Silver in the form of a classic loon’s head with red glass eyes. The cane is fully hallmarked on the collar with the artist initials and date: London 1899. The Shaft is made of Ebony Maccaser with overall length of 82 cm. The cane is especially narrow (11 mm). The horn ferrule is a bit worn. The handle and shaft are in mint condition.
