German Art-Nouvo walking stick. End of the 19th cent. The crutch handle is cast from 925 silver in two parts. The base of the handle is fully hallmarked. The shaft is made from the exotic and rare Goncalo Alves or Tigerwood. (In Latin- Astorium Graveolens). The ferrule is silver. The heel is special, made of rubber and thick leather.
