Specially manufactured, very accurate rulers, one with flat cross section profile, the other with oval cross section. Both were made during the early 1920's for continental architects by W.F. Stanley London. Both of these rulers are 12 inches or 30 centimeter in length, fully divided with double reading. English and decimal readings are engraved on the celluloid edges that are mounted on a center boxwood spine. These rulers are an excellent example of dividing and engraving craftsmanship in the early 1920's.
