Unique 3 foot folding ivory ruler made from high quality Ivory. The end plates, hinges and joints are artistically made from brass. The ruler is signed J Aston maker. Rulers of this size are rarely made, and less so in ivory. John Aston was one of a family of ruler makers in Birmingham.
