This mint condition Type I model with serial number 47218 was manufactured on June 1960 in Liechtenstein by Contina Ltd. (invented by Curt Herzstark). All of the mechanical and other parts are functioning very well, including: The main operating handle that can be pulled up or down. The carriage drum that could be raised and turned. The 8 setting knobs that are used for selecting any number from 1 – 9. The counting dials that shows the results and the counter position. The clearing lever that by rotation can clear the dials. The reversing lever with its two working positions. The special metal shock and water resistant carrying case (which opens with a clockwise twist) is also like new, with no marks or scratches.
