Camera Lucida is an instrument for drawing objects in true perspective, and for copying, reducing, or enlarging other objects. This magnificent Camera Lucida, (circa 1820) was made in brass and enclosed in a velvet lined box covered with high quality shagreen skin . The clamp, screw, telescoping stem, prism and lens system, are in very good condition.
