A Set Of Brass Traveler Vesta Match Case And Traveler Inkwell.

End of 19th century set in perfect mint condition. The vesta case has two hinged lids; the inner lid has a ribbed striking plate for lighting the safety matches and the top lid closes the box with a spring push button. The brass traveler inkwell contains its original glass well and hinged lid that springs open and has a leather plug to avoid ink leakage. The lid closes with a spring push button secured with a latch. Width and height of each is 5 cm (2 inch). The set was made in England probably during 1880's.
