This 21 cm (8-½ inches) table globe was published in Germany by the famous company of Carl Abel and Klinger in Nuremberg and constructed by J.A. Buhler. Since Carl Abel’s name was not associated with Klinger until after 1852, the globe is circa 1860. This globe is printed in colors for the English market, with place names and cartouche in English. The globe is resting on a later solid brass stand made of uncalibrated meridian and horizon rings and four hexagonal legs. 24 cm (9-½ inches) high.
