A 1904 cathedral clock made of mahogany with a pine base. The dial is circular brass with a silvered chapter ring and Arabic numerals. On both sides of the door are twisted screw-like columns. The cornice is decorated in the Egg and Dart design. The tympanum in the triangular pediment is decorated with a stylized acanthus leaf. The clock was given as a present in England. The small silver plaque at the bottom states: Wakefield Amateur Swimming Club Four Lengths Breast Stroke 1st Prize Won By Alfred Beilby Fete 1904. The Junghans clock factory was established in 1861 in Schramberg in the Black Forest. The star symbol has been in use on their movements since 1890. The clock sizes are 37 cm (14.5 inches) at its tallest point and 27 cm (10.6 inches) at its widest. It is 16 cm (6.3 inches) deep. The clock is in perfect working order.
