Decorative Victorian Silver Beaker. This gold plated beaker is straight-sided with a flat base. The side is engraved with exceptional intricate and delicate floral design. A square cartouche is engraved in the center, with entwined initials "ESS", surrounded by decoration of leafy scrolls, flowers and bows. A full set of hallmarks is stamped on the side. Made in London by F.D. in 1848. (might be Francis Douglas) The beaker is made from a particularly heavy gauge of silver with even thicker rim. (Height 8.5 cm Diameter 6.5 cm)
