Confection of Senna Lenitive Electuary. Probably made from Cassia acutifolia The senna shrub grows in India, Pakistan, China and other varients in west Africa. It tשrgets the lower bowel,and increases the movements of the colon by its local effect upon the intestinal wall. This preperation was made by Boots. The porcelain jar is in very good conditon with only very minor chips to the rims. Height is 9 cm.
