Hand Forged Nuremberg Magnifier Steel and Glass Early 19th century

This is a Nuremberg type magnifier in a hand forged steel frame. The frame and handle are made of two pieces connected with pins at the collar (and not screws). The handle is shaped into a rough triangle with small scrolls at the collar and a loop with chain at the end. Overall length is 14 cm and the glass is 8.5 in diameter.
