Size (width X Height): 6 X 9 inch. Method and Color: Steel engraving with hand watercolor. Map Description: The territories of the 12 tribes of Israel are aligned on both banks of the river Jordan. The shoreline extends from Beirut to Raphia. The map lists 12 important Battle Fields from that of Moses conquest of the Ammonites to Saul’s encampment and death by the Philistines. Most of the Levitical Jewish settlements are shown as well as cities of refuge. Scale: about 26 miles to an inch. Inset Description: Environs of Jerusalem from Geba in the north to Arad in the south.
